My boss SUCKSSSS. I was questioning his billing methods to another colleague who works closely with him and explaining why I didn't feel right about it and we spoke to him together about it and then i hear from another co-worker that he was telling her that he's "sick of me" ... when you work in an office with less than 30 people.. word gets around quickly.. what he said was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional and he should have come to be instead of taking to co-workers behind my back. Happy day.

I hate my boss! He incorrectly corrects me, over-explains everything and remembers nothing. I have had to show him how to add attachments to email, how to copy and paste, and how to use his webcam times beyond number. He can't spell. He doesn't listen. He has the nerve to school me on credibility- that when I go to a luncheon tomorrow I should park my old dumpy car around back, lest anyone see me getting out of it and decide they don't want to know me. This coming from a man who reuses old folders at events and has me white out or cut out the outdated information and then wonders why no one wants to do business with him.

In case anyone needs an update, since this last post she's been sweet to me... almost too sweet... to the point of being sickening.

But I got some good news this week. She's stepping down as my boss and going to a different location. The last day I have to deal with her bi-polarism is 1/27. So, no offense to this forum, hopefully you guys won't hear from me again.

After everything she's put me through, if I said I hope the door doesn't hit her tight ass on the way out, I'd be lying.

My bosses are the biggest assholes. Every time we have inclement weather and I tell them, "hey, the roads are screwed. cars are wrecked all over the place. we need to open late." They scream at me that since THEIR roads are clear, I should risk my life and my car to come in. well im sure they can because they make all the money.

my bosses too, like some of you, have no boss except a board who dont come in and dont see anything that goes on at work. So I have no option but to piss and moan because I need the money in this shitty economy. they are also white racists who, aside from doing bad things I won't mention, make me come in on MLK Day every year for 2 damn customers. And after this, they still bitch about how high payroll is. well DUH.

It's alright. I have a master's degree and I'm working on my PhD while they rot in obscurity, both of them getting fatter and dumber as every year passes by. I will happily pee on their graves when they succumb to diabetes. I'm surprised they don't fall through the floor at work they're so fat.

Aside from this, there is a new guy at work who doesnt show me any respect, even though I'm a supervisor. But because Im younger, he feels like he can get away with it. well let me tell you something all you whiney baby boomers (by the way growing up in that fabulous post war economy must have been so hard). Just because you're older than me, does not mean you have manners, class, or intelligence. your generation has screwed up society enough!

- gives me a crappy contract where 50% is under the table with no pay stub. Overpays me, and then deducts it from future paychecks without being able to explain how my paycheck even works.

- It's a part time job that doesn't pay enough so I had to get another job, and she asks about that job all the time and makes me reassure that I won't leave this job. (I would have preferred not to tell, but she's so damn nosy and asks about what I do dsjfshjfasdKJDn)

My boss is just a gripe. Goes out of her way to act bitchily towards me for no warranted reason. Seems to put effort into being as rude as she possibly can, BECAUSE she can. Why? One day I'll be writing her paychecks and holding her position hostage.

I can't begin to stress how much I hate my boss(lawyer), and his wife, his mother, and dislike his daughter a great deal also. The last one is unfortunate because I dislike her because they have taught a beautiful young girl to be an obnoxious and spoiled little rich kid. I have worked here for almost 15yrs but I'll get to the point of my most recent reason for my contempt. It has been quite some time since I have had any kind of raise, so I finally mentioned this to my boss. He flat out said he could not afford to give me one. During this same week he needed to go home early to cut his grass because he can't do it on the weekend because he is at his condo at the beach! He has a 3 story home that is paid for, a beach condo that is paid for, two mercedes, a denali, and a boat, all of which are paid for. I know without a doubt this office pulls in at least close to a half a million a year. I work at least 42hrs each week. Last week when he had to go home to cut grass I had to work 45hrs(no overtime pay here) btw he won't let anyone else touch his grass at home, cost him a small fortune to have it sodded. I have been here for these snobs through all kinds of weather, I completely handled every little thing when they had a miscarriage years back, I have listened to their poor-mouthing and how they talk about each other like dogs and been kind and loyal to each of them. I have listed to them brag about their money and belongings while I handle the bulk of the work and make them the money. Another thing, my list of responsibilities is too long to mention, but include, all incoming and outgoing mail, almost all documents that are type from scratch and sent to courts, clients, etc., order and put away all supplies, order stamps(yes, stamps, he won't allow a postage meter) answer the phone, answer the doors, etc. They even thought it was hilarious to have their child tell me how she did not like having to be on the beach with other people, which she referred to as "white-trash, redneck, riff-raff". I truly hate these people.

I need to vent about someone else's boss. I love my bosses. They are great. But we share a small office building with another company. They have two owners. One is a sweetheart, the other is a fucking tyrant. The sweetheart's stepdaughter that he raised since she was little is having a C-section on Wednesday. She wants him to be there. The tyrant asked "Do you really have to be there?" That's his grandchild being born, hello! The sweetheart can't breathe without the tyrant finding some fault with it, yet the tyrant can spend all the company money on his racecar hobby and thinks he can write it off. I help with their books, so no, he can't. The tyrant is going to run the company into the ground until they are bankrupt. I just hope the sweetheart gets out before that happens. He has already consulted an attorney about how to remove himself from the business legally. The tyrant's wife also works here as their office manager. But she's to chicken shit to stand up to her husband and she can't manage her own office help. One of the office girls had to be fired and she had one of her SERVICE TECHS do it for her! Oh yeah, and she can't wear flip flops because she can't seem to pick up her damn feet! Our company can't wait until they leave and get their own building and get out of ours!

I hate my boss! I'm just an intern and all the work is online but my boss is so grumpy! She refuses to take inot account her own mistakes. Most times, its her fault that the assignment is late because she does not approve of the original framework on time. She does not like it if I send the assignments at night and but it the only time I can work because - hello! my vacations are on. I have a LIFE. It is so irritating. The pay is peanuts and I am overqualified for the post. I need a new job.

I live above my job.I work in a newsagent and my boss just came over from shanghai.I have helped her in every way including my partner has helped her.I feel like I'm her stupid slave.she asked me paint her shop (I'm an artist not a professional painter)and it wasn't good enough so she ask me to sand it all back by hand after I just pained it with oil paint.She has also insulted every aspect of my life because she is constantly in my life.Can you picture your day off getting a good sleep in and you hear your name being called up the steps asking you to come to work in you pjs and mind the shop for her???She pays me the lowest wage I am constantly under stress.Im not allowed to have one day off even if I'm sick.she has called my boyfriend ugly and said really rude things about my appearance.I have bent over backwards for this lady now I'm thinking she is taking advantage of my kindness.She is my land lord ,my boss and my controller !what do I do???Im going explode!And she told me if dont work for her I need to move out straight away.After everything I have done to help her with her buisness and set up her life this is how she would treat me?

Boss is a manager at the public library I've been working at now for the past 6+ years. Said boss has been working in that position since the dawn of time and comands a lot of respect in the system. I work casually at the lowest tier job. its a position has that gradually eroded over time (once upon a time I functioned as multi-tasking staff member, over the past couple of years due to structural changes I've basically been demoted to the position of glorified book shelver). This is all made worse as a result of funding cuts which has meant working longer and harder, often in blatant disregard for OH&S rules. Anyway three months ago I screwed up at work and was pulled over by boss. It was over something pretty minor; I apologised to boss and promised to get my act together. The months ticked by and everything with boss seemed to setlled, I got called into work with her many times and, since the library has been understaffed, worked harder and longer than ever, sometimes skipping breaks just to get the job physically done. Then today I discover boss has just made a formal complaint saying I don't work 'hard enough'. Ummm what? She certainly hasn't made any complaints to my face, and she's a pretty straight forward person, so I can only assume this a response to what happened in April. Thanks for conveniently leaving it three months and a bit months to make a complaint b****. Also furious about her ' happy to use you when we need staff' attitude. does anyone have any advise on how to deal with this situation, or dealing with nitpicky old c**** in general?
