my female boss is quite famous and can't do ANYTHING for herself. I have to organise her entire life and do you think there is ever a word of thanks? No way. I feel really guilty posting on her because i have dedicated the last 5 years to her and she thinks I worship the ground she walks on but I am so sick of her never appreciating me, getting home at 3am high off her (fake) tits and making me sit with her in the bathroom while she pukes in case she passes out. And guess who has to clean up the puke? I hate my life...and her mother... who is just as fake and just as bad with getting high. I exhange eye rolls and sympathetic looks with her mothers personal assistant all the time... we understand each others pain. That felt really good in a guilty goodness kinda way

My former boss, a woman, was like a little Hitler. It would also be funny if it wasn't for the fact that she's Jewish and a lezbian as well! But in the end she got demoted with a $20,000 pay cut and transfered.
But in the process she left behind a boot-licker who kept her list of people she liked and hated (I'm on the hated list). Well my new manager is a waste of space! The boot-licker has weasled his way into some sort of power and makes some people's life hell.
Anyway, my current boss has ignored any and all e-mails from customers that say good things about me. He also has ignored the fact that I had recently graduated with my MBA ... etc. He praises (almost) everyone else but getting an MBA with a GPA of 3.85 is no easy task.
But not to worry ... When I find another job I will make sure that before I hand in my letter of resignation to the CIO (ignoring my boss like he ignored me) I will make a nice little visit to Professional Standards and explain all the going ons, what laws are being broken, and what copyright laws are being violated.
FUnny that they ignore and agrivate me when I know where all the 'dead bodies' are hidden! Do they think I'm stupid?!?!? With such a high GPA - I don't think so!

never tell: that's a tough situation! It's not fair at all that you have to basically be her slave! Don't worry about posting about her, the beauty of this forum is that you can be anonymous if you want so she will NEVER find out It sounds like you're unhappy in your job, but after five years, it's gotta be hard to leave! I guess the question is, do you want to? CK: It sounds like you're more qualified than this boot-licker and your ex-boss! I can't believe someone in her position would be so immature as to have a LIST of people she liked and she hated!! In fact, even in my childhood, I don't remember anyone being that petty! You sound like you are too good for this job anyway and I like the idea of you going out with a bang! Get them for all they're worth!

When I DID have a desk Downtown I left an "Employee Rights" law book on my desk ... just to F with their brains. But I guess you have to have brains to begin with because they still play their games!
But when they started to move me into more isolated areas I picked up my law book.
But not to worry ... I have a record and a list of the laws that they have broken (statutes numbers). I also know an investigative reporter (through work) even though he may not know me by name but he will recognize me if he saw me because we talked a few times (not related to this case but just some chit-chat).
And the illegal software use by my department ... the company is now owned my Microsoft! We all know that 'Uncle Bill' doesn't need the money and the BSA fines are $250,000 (US$) a pop! Let me see ... $250,000 times about 10 - 15 equals ... A LOT! And to think that we are now under budget cuts as well ... OUCH!!!
But what is funny about the whole thing is that there have been about 6 people who have come up to me (knowing that I have the potential of being a manager - elsewhere) and asked me if I was in a position to hire to think of them! Just think ... they would rather work for me than with our current employer! That tells me a lot!

Here is an extention of a previous post of mine.
Seven Signs of Ethical Collapse
1) Pressure to maintain those numbers All companies and organizations have goals and feel the pressure to meet the numbers. A company with a poor ethical culture, however, has graduated to meet those numbers into a zone of perversity. Employees in these companies start with the number they want to report and work backwards, making things fit using accounting interpretations, and eventually making it all up to reach the predetermined number.
2) Fear and Silence A type of culture wherein employees may see an issue, but they remain silent. If they do share their concerns, they are ether terminated or flat-lined in the organization.
3) Young'uns and a Bigger-Than-Life CEO Surrounding bootlickers, yes-men, and other useful idiots. Iconic, adored CEOs.
4) Weak Board Boards may be lacking experience, consisting of friends, showing conflict of interest, not spending enough time.
5) Conflicts A distinct atmosphere of back scratching exists. Favoritism and nepotism.
6) Innovation like no other A belief that we are so brilliant and innovative that the mundane rules accounting, corporate governance, and even basic economics do not apply to us.
7) Goodness in some areas atone for evils in others The constant perception of both managers and companies of themselves as good citizens. Philanthropic, environmentally sound and diversity-dedicated, these companies were recognized for their good deeds and contribution. Their noblesse oblige benefits many.

you sound really smart CK HAAAAA!!!! I don't think I'd get the same feedback from work. But then again maybe it's because I am smarter then they are and are afraid I'd over-run them! Hmmmm ... got to think about that one! But thanks for the compliment!

About three weeks ago I was placed to install new PCs. This involves loading the software and configuration of each PC. I was given 8 Work Orders consisting of 15, 12, 13, 3, 4 ,1 ,1, and 2 PCs in each Work Order. I was also to train another person from our HelpDesk in how to do these computer builds.
I did the training and when I finished the big builds (the 15, 12, and 13 PCs) I was asked by may manager why I had not moved these PCs to the HelpDesk Office (across town). I explained that no one instructed me to to so by my supervisor.
She explained that I was to move the unbuild PCs to the HelpDesk office and also build a 'build station' there so that on large orders over 5 PCs could be built there by the HelpDesk personnel that I had trained.
I just love it when I am given partial information and have my project fail (or delayed) because this information is never passed on. But I explained to my manager that my supervisor never instructed to transfer the equipment to the HelpDesk office. I was later taken OFF the projects and passed the information to the person taking over for me. But of course I had already done most of the work and he just had to install the PCs at the user's desks! But there is NOTHING like placing full blame right where it belongs - with my supervisor!!!
BTW - It has been drilled in my brain while persuing my MBA "Leadership is 80% communication!" More proof that there is NO leadership where I work!

mate you gotta leave! run your own company- you don't need those fools!! think of how happy you'd be somewhere else. I agree but owning a company is an exspense and time consuming. But I am looking to leave! I have an interview at 11:30 today with an agency. It seems like I get a call from an emploment agent or employer about once a month since I have started looking. But the calls seem to be coming in more frequently now. But the way I look at it, they tick me off but forget that I know where 'the bodies are buried.' That is one reason I have an employee's legal rights book. And what they don't realize that I also took two law classes in getting my Masters degree. They live in their little world playing games with people's lives and not realizing that sometimes people bite back! Some people ask me why I put up with some of this cr@p and I just tell them that I just keep handing them rope to hang themselves with! What they don't realize is the whole time they have couse my Celtic/Norse blood to boil and my revenge will be sweet! But I am not the ONLY one they have pissed off! I also know of other former contractors who feel the same way. BTW - I might be able to get a fine levied against my employer for having and using pirated software by the technicians on the computers. $250,000 a pop! - that could spell about $5 million USD and we are under budget cuts now as it is - what do you think how such a fine would do to a strapped budget?!?

Well ... it went OK I guess. I really don't think they have anything for me but 'nothing ventured, nothing gained.'
Last week I had an phone interview (from Ark.) but it was odd to say the least! I think the guy was looking for a 'warm body.' He made comments about the people he works with having nothing more than an 8th grade education and aske if I heard about the joke about "the people in Ark. having only half their teeth." I haven't but I said "yes (?) ..." He then exclaimed that "It's TRUE!"
And he was trying to convence me to move there?!?!?! I'll pass, thank you!

my female boss h is such a bitch. her tits are so fake that her nipples show thru three layers of clouthes. this poor girl recently got a job here and "big fake titi-ed H' as i will call the bitch was listening as she went by the car she was in with her sister and then told the whole office what she over heard about the girl. the bitch is like forty and the girl just graduated college and i thought that was so catty, Then the day she was to be fired they made fun of her, by telling her what she was gong to do the next day and then laugh right in her face everytime she was like "oh great looking forward to it". wow forty fucking years old with kids and they fucking act like that. i felt sorry for the girl, she never knew her private conversation was so violated. these women are worse then high school, only differenc eis that thier asses and thier tits hang at the same level.

Well today I had e-mailed the team lead (what a Fn joke!) that I had left an hour late repairing a user's PC and that I was coing in an hour early to work on another user's PC that is dead. I also said I intend to leave a bit early to make up the difference in time.
Well the e-mail ended at my supervisor and he e-mailed me back stating that I can't do that without advance notice and that my hours are 8 - 5. Yet the one customer's hours are 7-4. TO boot my boss said I need to 'work on my customer service skills.' Gee - I thought I was! Funny how these customers are so glad to see me considering my customer skills are so bad ... yea, right!
This place blows! And to boot this place is costing me money! My boss said I am not turning in my exspences soon enough and thay can't reinburse me! Fn pricks!
The latest rumor is that my boss want to get rid of me!
